Here come the holidays.
If you’re anything like me, you have grand expectations and visions of how joyous the season will be.
It’s going to be so special.
Everyone is going to be happy.
And so appreciative of everything I’ve done to make it all so wonderful!
But somehow, come January, I know once again, I’ll be left wrung out and exhausted with piles of decorations waiting to be hauled back to the attic.
I don’t want to do that again this year! Do you?
What if there was a different way?
What if this year, you set your intentions to avoid overwhelm, exhaustion and holiday burnout?
This 5-day writing challenge is about setting you up to move into the holiday season in a more mindful way…
So that throughout the holidays you are calm, serene and relaxed.
And when the holidays are over, you’re full of energy with which to begin the new year.
This is an invitation to remember YOU this year… giving yourself permission to care for yourself throughout this busy season.
That is where we’ll find the magic!

This writing challenge is totally FREE.
For 5 days in a row you’ll receive an email with a writing prompt in your inbox.
There is a private Facebook Group, which is optional to join if you care to connect and share your work.
No special pens or notebooks required. Scraps of paper are all good. A phone. A computer. Whatever works for you.
Write as little or as much as you like. This is about intentionally taking a little time each day, just for you!

I spent much of the year creating order and the holidays inevitably bring busyness and disruption.
This is the year I’m looking to create the new holiday tradition of being calm, centered, present and relaxed throughout the entire season.
I’m ready to break the patterns of holiday perfection, overwhelm and busyness.
To discover a new intentional and deliberate way to move through the holidays…
and begin the coming year full of energy, grateful, and joy.

Who is Kasey Mathews?
I am a mother of two, a writer, speaker, Book-Writing and Transformational Life Coach and the author of two award winning books, Preemie: Lessons in Love, Life and Motherhood and A Mom’s Guide to Creating a Magical Life.
